About Us

Dr. Abhay Kumar brings over 22 years of professional experience as a Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgeon. His main areas of interest include minimally invasive cardiac surgery, aortic aneurysm surgery, redo cardiac surgery, valve repair /replacements, total arterial coronary bypass surgery, beating heart coronary bypass, etc. He has extensive exposure to Pediatric Cardiac surgery, with research work on Bidirectional Glenn, Fontan procedure & Ebstein anomaly. He has performed over 8000 open heart surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic aneurysm surgery, congenital heart surgery, peripheral vascular surgery, valve replacement and repair, ventricular assist device, and heart transplant. After completing his MBBS from the Univ. of Lucknow in 1993, he also achieved an MS (General Surgery) from the Univ. of Lucknow in 1996 and an MCh (Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery) from AIIMS, New Delhi, in 2000.
