Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhary is a well?recognized Surgical Gastroenterologist and liver transplantation expert. With a successful career of more than 18 years, he has performed over 1250 Liver transplant surgeries. Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhary's expertise encompasses areas such as Liver Transplant, Liver Cancer, Pancreas and Biliary Diseases, and Minimally Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery). His educational background includes an MBBS from Goa Medical Coll. & Hosp. and an MS (General Surgery) from Lady Hardinge Medical Coll.. Dr. Chaudhary further honed his skills through a Fellowship in hepatobiliary & multiorgan transplant surgery at the Thomas Starzl Transplantation Inst. (Univ. of Pittsburgh Medical Center), Pittsburgh, USA. Actively involved in professional organisations, he is a part of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, a lifetime part of the Association of Surgeons of India, and the International Liver Transplant Society. He received the Vishisht Chikitsa accolade and Times Healthcare Achievers accolade for his exceptional contribution to the field of Liver transplantation in 2015 and 2018, respectively.
