About Us

Dr. Abhijit Sarkar is a medical oncologist with more than 35 years of professional experience as an oncologist. He focuses on providing treatment for breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, blood cancer, lung cancer, head & neck cancer, etc. He also offers treatment procedures such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy. He completed his MBBS degree at National Medical Coll., Birgunj in 1988. He also completed his Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT) at the Inst. of Post-Graduate Medical Education & Research (IPGMER, SSKM Hosp.), Kolkata in 1994. He is a a fellow of the Indian Academy of Medical Specialities. Dr. Sarkar has published several medical research articles and publications in oncology journals. He is a part of prestigious organizations such as the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI). Dr. Sarkar has appeared as a cancer specialist on TV programs about health and wellness on channels like DD Bangla and 24 Ghanta. He has also appeared as a guest on FM radio stations such as Radio Mirchi and Red FM to share his knowledge of oncology.
