Dr. Ajay Kaul is among the top cardiac surgeons in the country, having vast surgical professional experience and performing over 20,000 cardiac surgeries. With an professional experience of 45 years, he is widely acknowledged for his specialization in treating Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, Valve Repairs, Total Arterial Coronary Bypass Surgery, Structural Heart Disease, and Surgery for Cardiac Failure. Dr. Kaul's expertise lies in managing heart failure, which includes left ventricular assist devices (LVAD) (artificial heart), heart transplants, and the Implementation of various devices for heart failure. He has also performed over 5000 Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgical procedures, Peripheral Vascular and Endovascular Stent placement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, Interventions for Structural Heart Disease, Transcatheter Mitral Valve replacement transplants, and Left Ventricular Assist Device. Dr. Kaul completed his MBBS in 1979, MS (General Surgery) in 1982, and MCh (Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery) from Bombay Univ.. He also has a Fellowship in Heart & Lung transplant from Hannover Medical School, a Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery from Leipzig Heart Centre, Germany, and a Fellowship in Adult Cardiac Surgery from Royal Melbourne Children's Hosp., Melbourne. He is a professional part of the Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery of India and the Cardiological Society of India (CSI).
