Dr. Ajay Kumar, a highly esteemed Gastroenterologist, with more than 36 years of professional experience in the field. He specialises in treating Pancreatic Biliary Disease and Luminal Gastroenterology and conducts Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy. He completed his MBBS from Punjab Univ. and his MD in General Medicine from Post Graduate Inst. of Medical Education and Research. Chandigarh. He further completed a DM from Delhi Univ. in 1987 and received Fellowship from Univ. Coll., Hamburg Globally recognized for advanced treatment methods, he has received prestigious accolades, including the B.C Roy accolade, J. Mittra Olympus accolade, Vishisht Chikitsa Ratna accolade, and International Service accolade by American Society of Endoscopy in 2018. He holds life membership in prestigious associations, including the Indian Medical Association, American Society of GI Endoscopy of India, Crohn's Colitis Foundation of India, European Society of GI Endoscopy, American Gastroenterology Association, and National Medicos Organization. He is a part of the working committee established by the World Society of Digestive Endoscopy to develop practice guidelines and publications on Endoscopy. He holds positions on the Editorial Board of prestigious journals like Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (the official journal of the American Society of GI Endoscopy), Asian Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and "Gastroenterology" (the official journal of the American Gastroenterology Association). Dr. Ajay Kumar has an impressive publication record, with over 40 publications in National and International Journals, 20 publication presentations at different conferences, and contributions to 17 chapters in books.
