Dr. Aloy Jyoti Mukherjee boasts an extensive 31-year career as a General Surgeon, well?recognized for his specialization in various surgical procedures. He focuses on bariatric surgery, obesity treatment, hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, abdominal surgery, liver surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and fistula treatment. His educational qualifications include MBBS from Gauhati Medical Coll., Guwahati, 1993, MS (General Surgery) from Gauhati Medical Coll., Guwahati, 2011, and MAMS from National Academy of Medical Sciences, India, 2008. He also achieved a Fellowship in the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal EndoSurgeons (FIAGES) in 2008, a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery (FALS) in 2017, and a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) in 2017. He is an active part of the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal EndoSurgeons (IAGES), Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Society of India (OSSI), International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), and Association of Surgeons of India (ASI).
