Dr. Ameet Kishore is a distinguished ENT Surgeon with more than 34 years of professional experience. His expertise extends to complex cochlear situations and Auditory Brainstem Implantation, with his team being the sole active program in North India. He is well?recognized for his work in cochlear implantation, having established and led the cochlear and hearing implant program at Apollo Hospitals, benefitting over 700 recipients. Dr. Kishore's expertise extends to Head and Neck conditions, including the management of lumps, Salivary, and Thyroid Gland disorders, as well as Micro Laryngeal Surgery and Phono Surgical Techniques for Hoarseness. His practice offers advanced solutions like Bone Anchored Hearing Aids, Bonebridge, and Vibrant Soundbridge middle ear implants for patients with hearing loss. He is skilled in endoscopic nasal and sinus surgeries, including Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and Balloon Sinuplasty, and also performs advanced procedures like Orbital Decompression and Endoscopic Pituitary Tumour Surgery. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Armed Forces Medical Coll. (AFMC), Pune, 1990; FRCS (Otolaryngology) from Royal Coll. Of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK, 1995; Fellowship of Royal Coll. of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS), 1995, and Fellowship of the Royal Coll. of Physicians and Surgeons (RCPS), Glasgow, 1999. Dr. Kishore gained specialized specialization in Microscopic Ear Surgery, Neuro-Otology, Cochlear Implants, and Pediatric ENT through extensive advanced training across centers in the UK, Europe, and the USA. With a rich academic portfolio comprising six book chapters, over 30 peer-reviewed articles, and numerous presentations at National and International Conferences, Dr. Kishore demonstrates a commitment to advancing ENT care. Dr. Kishore also holds the position of honourable secretary at the Cochlear Implant Group of India, further contributing to the field's advancement.
