Dr. Amit Chandra is a distinguished Cardiac Surgeon known for his extensive 37 years of professional experience. He has performed over 10,000 cardiac operations, including Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) and Valve surgeries. He is particularly well?recognized for his proficiency in Mitral Valve Repair, having mastered complex procedures. His academic journey includes MBBS from King George Medical Coll., Lucknow, 1987, MS (General Surgery) from King George Medical Coll., Lucknow, 1990, and MCh (Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery), King George Medical Coll., Lucknow, 1992. Dr. Chandra received his cardiac surgical advanced training from the prestigious Texas Heart Inst. in the USA under the guidance of Dr. Denton A Cooley. He has developed innovative techniques like the "Medanta Correction" for Mitral Valve repair, garnering international acclaim and presentations at prestigious events such as the Mitral Conclave in New York, USA. He is actively involved in research, with numerous publications in national and international journals, and frequently serves as an invited speaker at various conferences worldwide.
