Dr. (Prof) Amit Kumar Sharma is an ENT Surgeon specializing in the management of simple and complex conditions related to ear, nose, and throat diseases. He has extensive professional experience and knowledge in diagnosing and treating adult and pediatric ENT issues, including hearing problems, nasal blockage, snoring, sleep apnea, vertigo, tinnitus, and swallowing problems. He is skilled in performing routine and advanced surgeries such as Endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, sleep apnea surgeries, thyroid surgeries, ear surgeries, tracheostomy, foreign body removal, and airway emergencies. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from the West Bengal Univ. Of Health Sciences and an MS from KMC Manipal. Dr. Sharma is actively involved in academics, serving as a teacher for numerous MS and DNB students. He received specialized advanced training in cochlear implant surgery from a center of excellence. He is an author of multiple publications, both nationally and internationally, showcasing a commitment to advancing the field. He actively participates in national forums, with a track record of chairing sessions at academic conferences. He is an active part of the Indian Society of Otology.
