Dr. (Prof.) Amite Pankaj Aggarwal is a highly esteemed Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with both national and international recognition. He is one of the youngest professors in Orthopedics in the country. - His exceptional academic background is complemented by numerous national and international fellowships and accolades. He actively contributes as a faculty member in various regional and national conferences, CMEs, and courses specializing in arthroplasty and arthroscopy. He is skilled in sports-related arthroscopic surgeries of the knee and shoulder, routinely addressing multiligamentous injuries and performing cartilage restorative procedures. Dr. Aggarwal is recognized for his live surgical demonstrations in arthroscopy and arthroplasty at conferences, he also imparts advanced training at cadaveric courses for young orthopedic surgeons. He has vast professional experience exceeding 5,000 joint replacement surgeries, covering knees, hips, and shoulders, including complex deformities and revision surgeries. He completed his MBBS in 1997, MS (Orthopaedics) in 2001, and DNB (Orthopaedics) in 2002 from All India Inst. of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He also did MRCS from Royal Coll. of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK, in 2002. He is also a a fellow of the American Coll. of Surgeons (FACS) and a Fellow in Shoulder Surgery, Western Orthopedic Center, Perth, Australia. -He also advocates the "Fast-Track" Total knee arthroplasty approach, mobilizing patients shortly after surgery to reduce complications. He utilizes gyroscopic navigation, a modern and precise alternative to conventional methods, for improved surgical precision and longer-lasting results. He is a part of Orthopedic Association, Indian Arthroscopy Society, ISKSSA, and Indian Orthopedic Association.
