Dr. Amrithlal A. Mascarenhas is a well?recognized surgeon in the field of orthopedics. He has an professional experience of 24 years in providing comprehensive treatment to ortho patients. He is known for his specialized treatment for the following treatments: Acetabular fixation Cemented and cementless total hip replacement (THR) Revision hip replacement Minimally invasive hip replacement He provides extensive and thorough treatments for knee replacement surgery, tendon repair surgery (flexor extensor), wrist joint replacement, and arthritis. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from St. Johns National Academy Of Health Sciences in 2000 and an MS in Orthopedics from St Johns National Academy Of Health Sciences in 2005. He further did a FNB in Spine Surgery, National Board Fellowship in Spine Surgery Indian Spinal Injuries Center in 2010. He earned the KOA Travelling Fellowship in 2008 and another Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. He has served as an active part of several councils and societies, like the Medical Council of India, the Association of Spine Surgeons of India, the Karnataka State Orthopaedic Association, the Spinal Cord Society of India, the International Spinal Cord Society, the AO Spine International, the Indian Orthopaedic Association, and the Bangalore Orthopedic Society. He has authored various research articles and publications in highly recognized journals, such as Indian Spine Journal, European Spine Journal, Indian Journal of pain, and many more.
