Dr. Anil Kumar Anand is a prominent Radiation Oncologist with 44+ years of extensive professional experience. He earned his MBBS from Dayanand Medical Coll. in Ludhiana. After that, he completed his MD in Radiotherapy and Oncology at the prestigious Post Graduate Inst. of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh. Dr. Anand also received specialized advanced training in radiation therapy at the New York Hosp. Medical Center of Queens and further enhanced his expertise with focused advanced training in Radiotherapy of Head and Neck Cancers at The Middlesex Hosp. Medical School in London. He has authored numerous scientific publications, with his most recent work spotlighting Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) in recurrent head and neck cancers. He is a part of prestigious organizations, including the Indian Society of Oncology, the American Society of Radiation Oncology, and the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India. Additionally, Dr. Anand offers his expertise as an advisor to scientific bodies such as the International Commission on Radiation Oncology (ICRO), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other United Nations organizations. He also contributes as a part of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Cancer Research and Therapeutics.
