About Us

With more than 15 years of professional experience, Dr. Arti Pawaria is the first formally trained female Paediatric Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist in India. Her expertise lies in managing Liver Transplant Services, encompassing pre-, peri-, and post-operative care for children. She is skilled in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver biopsies. Her department is recognized as a Centre of Excellence for Paediatric Liver and GI diseases, specializing in conditions such as Wilson disease, Biliary Atresia, Metabolic Liver Disease, Celiac disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Liver Transplantation. Currently, Dr. Pawaria provides comprehensive care to children (up to 18 years) with gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic diseases, ranging from simple to complex cases. Her educational qualifications include an MBBS from Kasturba Medical Coll., Manipal, Karnataka, in 2009 and an MD (Pediatrics) from SMS Medical Coll., Jaipur, in 2009. She also earned a PDCC in Pediatric Gastroenterology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Inst. of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, 2015. Dr. Pawaria received advanced advanced training in Paediatric Hepatology and Liver Transplant from the Inst. of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi, the only dedicated center for pediatric liver in India. She has received numerous international accolades for her contributions to the treatment and research of gastrointestinal and liver diseases in children. Dr. Pawaria is an active part of prestigious organizations, including the Liver Transplant Society of India, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, the Indian Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition (ISPGHAN), and the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS). She is fluent in English and Hindi.
