Dr. Arun Garg

About Us

• Dr. Arun Garg is a highly esteemed Neurologist with over 38 years of experience.
• He is proficient in neurorehabilitation, occupational therapy, and stroke prevention and pioneered thrombolysis in Acute Stroke in North India.
• He specializes in stroke management, having developed a unique three-tier system in North India connecting primary and secondary brain rescue centers to Medanta-The Medicity via ambulance and telemedicine networks.
• He received stroke prevention, education, treatment, and rehabilitation training from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMASS), USA.
• He earned his MBBS, MD (General Medicine), and DM (Neurology) from Sawai Mansingh Medical (SMS) College, Jaipur, in 1986, 1989, and 2002, respectively.
• Earlier in his career, Dr. Garg established neurology services at Max Hospital, Pratapganj, New Delhi.
• He collaborates with UMASS for stroke-related initiatives, including prevention, education, treatment, rehabilitation, and research.
• Dr. Garg has contributed articles to national and international journals and is passionate about teaching.
• His vision is to establish a "Brain Rescue" program across North India centered at Medanta, aiming to provide comprehensive stroke management in line with international healthcare standards.
• He is an active member of the Indian Academy of Neurology, Delhi Neurology Association, Indian Medical Association, Delhi Medical Council, and East Delhi Physician Association.
