Dr. Ashu Kumar Jain is a well?recognized Pain Physician with more than 18 years of professional experience. He focuses on the diagnostic workup and medical management of various chronic painful illnesses, including but not limited to Chronic Low Back/Neck pain, Sciatica, Pelvic Pain in females, Rheumatological diseases, Chronic cancer pain, headaches, and challenging pain syndromes like CRPS I & II, Phantom Limb Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Trigeminal Neuralgia. He is skilled in the use of various classes of drugs, such as NSAIDs, Anti-Neuropathic Drugs, Narcotic Agents, DMARDS, and Biological agents, employing different modes of delivery. He is skilled in a wide range of Interventional Pain Management Procedures using C-Arm Fluoroscopic & Ultrasound guidance, covering basic interventions and advanced procedures, including but not limited to Percutaneous Disc Decompressions, Adhesiolysis procedures, Facet Joint injections, and many more. He offers advanced interventional pain management procedures, including Spinal Cord Stimulators, Intrathecal Implants, Selective Nerve root Ablation for Trigeminal Neuralgia, T2-T3 Sympathectomy (RF Ablation), and Endoscopic Discectomies, showcasing specialization in advanced pain management techniques. He is credited with establishing the Department of Pain Medicine at Artemis Health Inst.. He is recognized as the best Pain Physician in North India by the Indian Excellence accolades. After completing his MBBS from Pt. B D Sharma Postgraduate Inst. of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, 1993; he also achieved MD (Anaesthesiology) from Government Medical Coll., Patiala, Punjab, 2000 ISSP awarded him a Fellowship in Pain Medicine in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field. He gained valuable professional experience during his three-year tenure at AIIMS, New Delhi, and later pursued a Fellowship in Pain Medicine from LLRM Medical Coll., Meerut. He is actively engaged in teaching and has served as granted fellowships in Pain Medicine at his center. He is a proud part of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), USA, the Indian Association for the Study of Pain (ISSP), the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM), the Indian Association of Cardiovascular Thoracic Anaesthesiologists (IACTA).
