He has done over 2000 urological cancer surgeries and 600+ robotic procedures to date. He focuses on open laparoscopic and robotic procedures for urological cancers and is recognized for his specialization in minimally invasive and da Vinci Robotic surgery. Dr. Tamhankar completed his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from G S Medical Coll. and KEM Hosp., Mumbai.
