Dr. Avik Kumar Jana is a well-known ENT surgeon with more than 22 years of professional experience in healthcare. He offers treatment and management of conditions such as dizziness, hoarseness, dysphagia, ear pain, sinusitis, hearing loss, mouth sores, and ear infections. He has performed numerous procedures such as mastoidectomy tympanoplasty, branchial fistula excision, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), submandibular gland excision, cochlear implantation, Caldwell-Luc operation, thyroglossal fistula excision, thyroidectomy, CSF rhinorrhea repair, and many others. Dr. Jana completed his MBBS at Nil Ratan Sircar Medical Coll. and Hosp., Kolkata in 2002 and was awarded a gold medal for the same. He completed his MS in Otorhinolaryngology at Calcutta Medical Coll., Kolkata in 2007. He obtained his DM in ENT at the International Univ. of Contemporary Studies, Univ. of California, USA in 2010. He has attended workshops on subjects such as temporal bone dissection, phonosurgery, and septorhinoplasty at various reputable institutes nationwide. He holds fellowships from many prestigious organizations, both international and national, such as the American Coll. of Surgeons (FACS) and the Coll. of Chest and Airway Physicians of India (FCCP). He is an active participant and speaker in ENT conferences worldwide and has won multiple accolades for his publication presentations. Dr. Jana is a prominent researcher, having published a number of articles in acclaimed journals such as the ‘European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology’ and the ‘Indian Journal of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery.’ He is an active part of well?recognized organizations such as the European Head Neck Society (EHNS) and the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI).
