Dr. B.G. Dharmanand is a highly accomplished rheumatologist with 37 years of specialization in diagnosing and treating various rheumatic diseases. He treats multi-system autoimmune diseases such as lupus, scleroderma, and polymyositis, which affect multiple systems in the body. Dr. Dharmanand’s expertise includes: Rheumatoid Arthritis Psoriatic Arthritis Osteoporosis Fibromyalgia Atopic dermatitis He received his MBBS degree from Madurai Medical Coll. in 1987 and completed his MD in General Medicine from J.S.S Medical Coll., Mysore, in 1992. Dr. Dharmanand further pursued his passion for rheumatology by completing a prestigious FTTA in Rheumatology from Southend Hosp., UK. Dr. Dharmanand has authored numerous research and review publications in highly regarded national and international journals, such as the International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases and the Indian Journal of Rheumatology. Additionally, he has contributed chapters to rheumatology and medicine textbooks. He is a former president and part of the Indian Rheumatology Association, the Indian Association of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the Geriatric Society of India and the Association of Physicians of India (API)
