Dr. Bhaba Nanda Das is a leading Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon in India with more than 37 years of professional experience. His expertise lies in CABG beating heart, double valve replacement, aortic valve replacement, mitral valve replacement, aortic aneurysm surgery, and all types of congenital anomalies and intracardiac repair. He has performed over 20,000 heart surgeries. He started Aneurysm Surgery in North India, performed the first heart transplant in India, and started a heart surgery program at Sathya Sai Inst. of Higher Medical Sciences (Puttaparthi). After completing his MBBS from Post Graduate Inst. of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, 1977, he also achieved MS (General Surgery) from Post Graduate Inst. of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, 1980, MCh (Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery) from All India Inst. of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, 1983, Fellowship of the World Health Organization, 1993, and Commonwealth Fellowship, 1994.
