Dr. Bhaskar Nandi is a prominent Medical Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with more than 38 years of professional experience. His expertise includes clinical management of liver failure (acute and acute on chronic), liver cancer, chronic hepatitis (hepatitis B and C, autoimmune), liver transplantation (transplant hepatologist), and therapeutic endoscopy, including challenging ERCP procedures. He focuses on liver diseases and liver transplantation, demonstrating a keen interest in the field. He is skilled in managing a spectrum of conditions such as liver failure, fatty liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, liver cancer, chronic hepatitis B and C, and liver transplantation. Dr. Nandi is extensively experienced in dealing with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), encompassing ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. After completing his MBBS from Pune Univ. in 1986, he also achieved an MD (Medicine) from Pune Univ. in 1993 and a DM (Gastroenterology) from All India Inst. of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, 2003. He actively contributed to the Liver Transplantation team and led the organ donation program within the Armed Forces. Dr. Nandi is well?recognized as a proficient teacher and examiner of medicine and gastroenterology. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
