Dr. Biswajit Paul is a well?recognized and leading Neurologist in Kolkata. He has an professional experience of more than 24 years in this field. His specialization lies in management of stroke, dementia and degenerative disease of the brain. He is also skilled in managing patients with vascular diseases, such as mechanical thrombectomy in acute ischemic stroke, carotid stenting, aneurysm, and AV malformation. He successfully performed over 1,000 diagnostic angiographies of brain & spine, and neuro-interventional procedures. Dr. Biswajit completed his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from Assam Univ.. After this, he completed a DM in Neurology from Guwahati Univ. in 2011. He is associated with many medical societies including the Indian Association of Neurologists (IAN), the Neurological Society of India(NSI), the Association of Neuroscientists of Eastern India (ANEI), the Society of Therapeutic Neurointervention (STNI), the Society of Neurovascular Interventions(SNVI).
