About Us

Dr. Deep Das is a well-known and highly specialized neurologist. Along with 24 years of professional experience, he is well-known for the management of headaches and migraine, movement disorders, epilepsy and seizures. His specializations are juvenile stroke patients, nonsurgical therapy of subdural hematomas, late-onset stroke presentations, and stenting in intracranial stenosis. He focuses on acute stroke care, cerebral digital subtraction angiograms, intra arterial and intravenous thrombolysis in ischemic strokes, carotid stenting, pre-operative tumor embolization, coiling of intracranial aneurysms, embolization of arterio-venous malformations, and so on. He has extensive professional experience caring for a large number of stroke patients from his prior stints in hospitals. He also has interests in movement disorders, headache treatment, and epilepsy. Dr. Deep Das earned his MBBS degree from North Bengal Univ. in 1999, followed by a Masters in Surgery (MS) in General Medicine from the Univ. of Calcutta in 2004. He further specialized in Neurology, obtaining a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) from West Bengal Univ. of Health Sciences in 2008. He has participated in a number of workshops focused on neurointerventions and neuro-electrophysiology. He is actively interested in continuing medical education and teaching programs, and he has given lectures at a variety of medical venues. He is a dedicated part of the Indian Stroke Association.
