Dr. Dhwanee Thakkar

About Us

Dr. Dhwanee Thakkar is a well-known Medical Oncologist with more than 23 years of professional experience. She is skilled in managing various Coagulation Disorders, including Hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, and Rare Bleeding Disorders. After completing her MBBS from Surat Municipal Inst. of Medical Education and Research (SMIMER), 2007, she also achieved MD (Pediatrics) from Surat Municipal Inst. of Medical Education and Research, (SMIMER), 2012, and FNB (Pediatric Hematology-Oncology) from Sri Ganga Ram Hosp., 2015. Dr. Thakkar also achieved a Fellowship in Paediatric Haematology Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant from Sri Ganga Ram Hosp. in 2015 and a Fellowship in Haemostasis and Thrombosis) from the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in 2018. She actively participates in conferences, seminars, and workshops. She has authored several books and publications presented at national and international conferences. Dr. Thakkar is a part of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis and the Indian Paediatric Haematology Oncology Group.
