About Us

Dr. Dibendu Kr. Ray is a well-known neurosurgeon with more than 31 years of distinguished professional experience. His expertise includes controlling the treatment of pituitary tumors, hypogonadism, and puberty disorders and managing short stature and growth disorders. Dr. Ray focuses on: Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery Brain and Spinal Cord Tumor Surgery Intracranial Aneurysms and Arteriovenous Malformations (AVMs) Endovascular Neurosurgery Complex Spine Surgery Dr. Ray completed his MBBS from RG Kar Medical Coll. and Hosp. in 1993, and then in 1998, he graduated from Sardar Patel Medical Coll. with an MS in General Surgery. In 2006, he completed his MCh in Neurosurgery at Chandigarh's esteemed PGIMER. Dr. Ray holds fellowships in radiosurgery from the Univ. of Virginia (Lars Leksell Fellowship in Radiosurgery), stereotactic and functional neurosurgery from Oregon Health & Science Univ. (OHSU), and spine surgery from the Univ. of Illinois Coll. of Medicine, Peoria (UICOMP). Notable accolades he has won include a surgical scholarship and first place in a biomedical waste management survey performed by the Quality Circle Forum of India. By organizing conferences, Dr. Ray actively promotes the medical community. He is the Organising Secretary of the Neurological Surgeons' Society of India's Annual Conference in 2020 and the Co-Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Neurological Society of India's Annual Conference in 2024. He is a part of several esteemed associations, including the Neurological Society of India, the Neurological Surgeons Society of India (NSSI), and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).
