Dr. Dipankar Sarkar is a gastroenterologist based in Kolkata, West Bengal. He brings over 40 years of professional experience in the field. He focuses on luminal gastroenterology and colon, liver, and pancreas disorders. He is an an expert in performing procedures such as colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, liver biopsy, bile duct procedures, and polypectomy. He offers treatment for ulcers, colitis, polyps, fatty liver disease, abscess, etc. Dr. Sarkar completed his MBBS at Calcutta Univ. in 1984. He then completed his MD in Medicine and DM in Gastroenterology at Post Graduate Inst. of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh in 1991. He is a part of reputed international and national organizations, such as the American Coll. of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG).
