His educational qualifications include MBBS from Government Medical Coll., Patiala, Punjab, 1999, MD (Medicine), Govt. Medical Coll. & Hosp., Amritsar, 2003, DM (Cardiology), LPS Inst. Of Cardiology, 2007 He completed fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology at the National Board, EHIRC, New Delhi, and Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care at Madras Medical Mission, Chennai.
