• Dr. Gaurav Goel is a renowned Neuro-Interventionist with over 24 years of experience.
• He specializes in treating vascular disorders of the Brain and Spine.
• His expertise includes Coiling of Aneurysms, Embolization of AVM, and Stenting for atherosclerotic disease.
• He is proficient in new Flow Diverter Stents for Intracranial Aneurysms and Neuroimaging techniques such as Diffusion, MR/CT perfusion, and Angiography.
• He focuses on Acute Stroke treatment using Mechanical and Chemical Thrombolytic Agents.
• Dr. Goel performs various Spine procedures like Nerve Blocks, Facet blocks, Epidural Blocks, and Vertebroplasty.
• So far, he has managed 2000 Spine pain cases during training in Montreal.
• He earned his MBBS and MD (Radio Diagnosis/Radiology) from Sawai Mansingh Medical (SMS) College, Jaipur, in 2000 and 2004, respectively.
• He also achieved DM (Neuro Radiology) from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in 2009 and a Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology from Montreal Neurological Hospital & Institute McGill University, Montreal, QC, 2011.
• He is the recipient of Best Paper Awards from IRIA (2008) and ISNR (2007) Annual Meetings.
• He is an active participant in workshops, conferences, and paper presentations.
• Dr. Goel is an active member of the Neurosurgical Society of India (NSI), Indian Society of Neuroradiology (ISNR), Indian Stroke Association (ISA), and Society of Therapeutic Neurointervention (STNI).
