Dr. Girish Warrier is a Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon with 20+ years of professional experience in Cardiac surgeries like complex neonatal cardiac surgeries. He focuses on focus on complex neonatal cardiac surgery, single ventricle palliation, and cardiac surgery for low-weight infants. He performs Acute Aortic Dissection, dextro-transposition of the great arteries (DTGA), Mitral/Heart Valve Replacement, PCI, PDA, CABG, and Peripheral Vascular surgery. He has pursued a Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery from the Children’s Hosp. of Philadelphia, USA, and a Paediatric Cardiac Surgery Fellowship from Auckland City Hosp. & Starship Children’s Hosp., New Zealand. Dr. Warrier has the notable accomplishment of being the first surgeon in India to perform complex open-heart procedures (Starne’s Operation) in 1kg neonatal child. Also, he is the first paediatric cardiac surgeon in Telangana to perform a Norwood Operation successfully. He is a part of prestigious associations such as the Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons and CTSNET.
