Dr. Gopal Kumar is a leading Surgical Oncologist in Gurgaon with more than 21 years of professional experience. His expertise extends to Robotic neck dissection and thyroid surgery, providing comprehensive care to his patients. Apart from his primary focus on head and neck cancer surgery, he holds a special interest in Organ preservation and recurrent carcinoma surgery of the tonsil, base of tongue, larynx, and hypopharynx. He also focuses on voice rehabilitation through Injection laryngoplasty and swallowing disorders in head and neck cancer patients. Dr. Kumar has successfully performed over 200 cases of Robotic Head and Neck Surgery, demonstrating his proficiency and skill in this specialized area of surgery. His educational qualifications include MBBS from Utkal Univ., Orissa, India, 2003 and MS (ENT), Gujarat Univ., India, 2010. He also achieved a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology in Head & Neck from The Gujarat Cancer and Research Inst. in 2011, a Clinical Observership Course in Head and Neck Oncology from Tata Memorial Centre in 2017, a Global Online Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA, 2018, and a Fellowship advanced training in Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery in Head and Neck Surgery from Yonsei Univ., Seoul, South Korea, 2020 Dr. Kumar is skilled in all three models of the Da Vinci System, enhancing his surgical expertise. He is actively involved in various prestigious organizations, including the Foundation for Head and Neck Oncology (FHNO), the Korean Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the Indian Society of Thyroid Surgeons, and the Association of Otorhinolaryngology Society of India.
