Dr. Hemanth Kumar Kasargod is a highly skilled General Surgeon with more than 20 years of professional experience performing a wide range of general surgeries. He operated on over 25,000 patients throughout his career. Dr. Kasargod also possesses specialization in Robotic Surgery, specifically with the Da Vinci Xi system, where he has both performed and assisted in various cases, notably in G.I. and Bariatric Surgery. Driven by a passion for teaching, he has organized numerous workshops focusing on Hernia surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and MIPH (STAPLED HAEMORRHOIDECTOMY and STARR procedure). Dr. Kasargod completed an MBBS from the Rajiv Gandhi Univ. of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and obtained a DNB qualification from the DNB Board in 2009. Additionally, he holds various fellowship degrees specializing in Minimal Access/Laparoscopic surgeries. He is well?recognized for his specialization in open surgical procedures, particularly in G.I./colorectal (benign and cancer)/metabolic and bariatric surgeries. Dr. Kasargod has showcased his surgical skills at conferences and workshops. Furthermore, he possesses proficiency in robotic surgeries, adding to his repertoire of surgical techniques.
