Dr. Ishita B.Sen

About Us

Dr. Ishita B Sen holds more than 30 years of professional experience in Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging. She received specialized advanced training in Medical Management of Thyroid Cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, NY, USA and advanced training in Myocardial SPECT Imaging for Nuclear Medicine Physicians in Beijing, China. She also completed the Thyroid Cancer Preceptorship Program at AIIMS and the Univ. of Marburg, Germany. Her specializations are Nuclear Oncology, Radionuclide Therapy, PET Guided Interventional Procedures, and Infection Imaging. She completed her MBBS in 1994 and Diploma in Radiation Medicine in 1998 from the Univ. of Delhi. She also did a DNB in Nuclear Medicine from the National Board Of Examination in 2005. Dr. Sen authored numerous reviews, clinical communications, and abstracts in Imaging and Oncology. She holds the position of President of the Association of Nuclear Medicine Physicians of India. She is also a part of the International Task Force to prepare Standard Operating Procedures on the Use of Clinical Practice, International Energy Agency, Vienna. She holds memberships of various prestigious organizations such as the European Association of Nuclear Medicine, American Thyroid Association, and Society of Nuclear Medicine.
