About Us
Dr. Jagdish Chander Suri is a widely experienced Pulmonologist who brings over 35 years of practice. He has specialization in treating airway diseases like asthma and COPD and conducts pulmonary function tests. Dr. Jagdish completed his MBBS in 1977 and a Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD) in 1981 from the Univ. of Delhi. His further qualifications include an MD in Pulmonary Medicine in 1984 and a DNB in Respiratory Medicine in 1985 from the Univ. of Delhi. He also holds a Fellowship In Kidney and Pancreatic Transplant from the Univ. of Pittsburgh Medical Coll. in 1997. He serves as the National advisor for the Pulmonary Group of the Drug Controller General India. He founded and served as president, chaired the Indian Sleep Disorder Association, and held the position of vice president of the Asian Society of Sleep Medicine. He was best known for establishing the First Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine in India at Safdarjung Hosp. in 1990. He holds memberships in esteemed organizations like the American Association for Respiratory Care, the Indian Society for Critical Care Medicine, the International Medical Sciences Academy, the Indian Chest Society, and the American Coll. of Chest Physicians. He has authored over 100 publications in both national and international journals.
