Dr. Jamshed J Dalal is one of the best Cardiologists in Mumbai. He brings over 53 years of clinical professional experience in handling various complex cases. Dr. Dalal is an internationally trained heart specialist who performed his first coronary angiography in the UK in 1978. Since then, he has done over 20,000 more such procedures. He holds a rare triple doctorate: a Doctorate in Medicine, a Doctorate in Cardiology from Mumbai, and a PhD from the UK. Dr. Dalal is an an expert in angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, intravascular ultrasound, and fractional flow reserve (FFR). He has performed thousands of cardiac catheterization procedures to date. He is known for initiating the angiography program in Mumbai in 1984. Dr. Dalal has served as actively teaching coronary angioplasty to doctors in India and China for the past 20 years. He has set up the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and introduced coronary angiography and angioplasty procedures for the first time in various reputed hospitals in India. Dr. Dalal completed his MBBS in 1971. Later, he completed an MD in General Medicine and a DM in Cardiology from Bombay Univ., Mumbai. By pursuing PhD in Cardiology from the Univ. of Wales, UK, in 1981, he gained extensive international professional experience and exposure. He is a a fellow of the Royal Coll. of Physicians (FRCP) and a a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC). He has received several prestigious accolades and accolades for his contributions to the field of cardiology. Dr. Dalal is a part of several prestigious medical societies and associations, such as the Cardiological Society of India, the Indian Coll. of Interventional Cardiology, and the Association of Consultants, Mumbai.
