About Us

Dr. Jaya Agarwal brings over 15 years of professional experience as a Hepatologist and Liver Transplant Surgeon. Her expertise lies in Liver Transplant Surgery, Robotic Live Liver Donor Surgery, Liver Surgeries including those for Liver Cancer, Gall Bladder Stone Surgery and Surgeries for Other Diseases Concerning Gallbladder, Surgery for Diseases of the Bile Duct, Small Bowel Transplant, Minimally Invasive (Laparoscopic Surgery), Robotic Surgery (for HPB and GI Surgery), etc. After completing her MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical Coll., Delhi, she also achieved an MS (General Surgery) from the Postgraduate Inst. of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, 2018. As the top-ranking postgraduate resident in MS General Surgery, she proceeded to pursue an MCh in Gastrointestinal Surgery and Solid Organ Transplant from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi. Dr. Agarwal further expanded her expertise with a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery (FALS) from the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES), a Fellowship in HPB surgery from the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA), and a Fellowship in Liver Transplant and Organ Retrieval from Liver Transplant Society of India. Her expertise was honed through notable tenures at various esteemed medical institutions. Throughout her specialized advanced training, she actively participated in numerous intricate HPB, GI, and Solid Organ Transplant surgeries and acquired skills in complex vascular surgery. Her profound interest in research has led to her recognition with multiple accolades at both National and International conferences. She holds esteemed memberships in prominent medical associations, such as the Indian chapter of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA), the Indian Medical Association (IMA), and the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES), reflecting her commitment to advancing medical practices. Dr. Agarwal is fluent in English and Hindi.
