Dr. Jayaprakash Shenthar is one of the best and leading Interventional Cardiologists. He has an professional experience of more than 20 years in this field. His comprehensive services encompass intricate procedures such as supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmia ablations utilizing advanced 3D electroanatomical mapping systems, catering to both adult and pediatric patients. He has performed over 600 ablations, about 550 device implantations and over 5000 ablations and 6000 pacemaker and device implantations in adult and pediatric patients. Among his specialties are the treatment of various heart conditions, ASD/VSD device closure, and hypertension management, among others. Dr. Shenthar obtained his MBBS from Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical Coll. in 1986, followed by MD from Karnataka Inst. of Medical Sciences, Hubli in 1991. After this, he completed DNB from the National Board of Examination in 1992. Recognized for his academic excellence, he was awarded the titles of Best Outgoing Student in MBBS (1985) and DM (1993). Dr. Shenthar holds memberships in prestigious organizations such as the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Cardiological Society of India (CSI). He has served as registered with the Karnataka Medical Council under registration number 24847 since 1986. Fluent in both English and Hindi, Dr. Shenthar ensures effective communication with his patients.
