Dr. Kalathil is recognized as one of the most experienced oncoplastic and reconstructive breast cancer surgeons, excelling in complex organ-preserving surgeries, sarcoma surgeries, GI malignancies, and radio-guided procedures like occult lesion localization and sentinel node biopsy techniques. He obtained his MBBS from Govt. Medical Coll., Thiruvananthapuram, and pursued MS in surgery. He earned FRCS from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, complemented by additional advanced training in leading medical institutes in Italy. His expertise extends to the surgical removal of early and advanced gynecological cancers and peritoneal malignancies. He is particularly skilled in total peritonectomy and HIPEC procedures, and he leads specialized oncology centers focusing on these advanced surgical techniques.
