Dr. Kalyani Dilip Karkare

About Us

Dr. Kalyani Dilip Karkare is a well-known neurologist and epileptologist with 22 years of professional experience in healthcare. Her expertise is in stroke, neurology, and epilepsy, where she has gained extensive professional experience treating both adults and children. Dr. Karkare’s academic journey began with an MBBS from the Government Medical Coll., a DM in Neurology from NIMHANS, and a post-doctoral fellowship in electroencephalography. She worked as a Clinical Neurophysiology Specialist at Nicklaus Children’s Health System, Miami (2018) and Neurodiagnostic Specialist at Neuro Network Partners, Miami (2016). She also has some months of professional experience working as a neurodiagnostic specialist at the Neuro Network Partners. Dr. Karkare has established laboratories at several corporate hospitals where she indulges in the research of epilepsy and acute stroke treatment, such as IV thrombolysis. Dr. Karkare has several peer-reviewed publications, tutoring students from medical and paramedical fraternities, and giving academic presentations at conferences. Her professional experience has earned her the position of Chapter Editor and Executive part of the IEA Bangalore.
