About Us

Dr. Kapil Jamwal is a Medical Gastroenterologist with more than 19 years of professional experience. He focuses on Fatty Liver, GI bleeding, Biliary tract disorders, Advanced Endoscopy Procedures in Liver Diseases, and Fecal Microbiota Transplantation. His clinical interest focuses on the NAFLD spectrum, Bile metabolism, Enterohepatic circulation, Biliary tree (Gall bladder, bile duct, pancreas), GI bleeding, and portal Hemodynamics. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Jammu Univ. in 2005, a DM (Gastroenterology) from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical Univ. (TNMGRMU) in 2013, and an MD (General Medicine), Sher-I-Kashmir Inst. of Medical Sciences, Srinagar, 2009. Dr. Jamwal received advanced training in Mucosal dissection and third space Endoscopy at Kyushu Univ. Japan during his tenure at ILBS. He is trained in complex ERCPs and the usage of mucosal suturing devices at Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota, USA. He represented India in international academic and business forums, including DDW, APDW, AASLD, and the Indo-US Biopharma Summit. Dr. Jamwal has authored numerous publications in both International and National journals. He is a part of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) and the Indian National Association for Study of the Liver (INASL).
