Dr. Kaushal Kant Mishra is a leading Orthopedic Surgeon with more than 26 years of professional experience. Currently, he is the director of joint replacement and orthopedics at Fortis Escorts, Delhi. He has performed the highest number of hip surgeries, including failed hip surgeries and all hip reconstructions, with specialization in bipolar for complex hip fractures in the old age population ranging from 70 to 107 years of age. Dr. Mishra performed the first uncemented hip replacement surgery in Tanzania and a hip replacement for the youngest Nigerian girl at Abujan Hosp.. He has multiple world records related to orthopedic surgery in his name. Under his able leadership, his team has performed the maximum number of shoulder replacement surgeries in North India, including Total Anatomical Shoulder Replacement, failed Arthroscopy, Reverse Shoulder Replacement (a recently developed “Unique” shoulder reconstruction), open and mini-open Rotator Cuff Surgeries and Latarjet procedures. Under his supervision, Fortis Escorts Hosp. is also performing complex traumas, such as Complex Pelvic Fractures with Poly Trauma across all age groups. He is also performing cases that include Limb lengthening, Orthopedic Tumors with or without metastasis, and deformity corrections in all age groups. He graduated from GSVM Medical Coll., Kanpur, and has done a Johnson & Johnson Joint Replacement Fellowship from AIIMS, Delhi. He served at AIIMS, Delhi, for almost 10 years.
