About Us

Dr B Madan Mohan is a Senior Consultant and Interventional Cardiologist with more than 33 years of professional experience in cardiology. He has treated numerous patients with the condition of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Angina Pectoris, Arrhythmia, Atherosclerosis, Cardiomyopathy, Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Failure, Hypertension, Myocardial Infarction and Peripheral Artery Disease. His expertise lies in interventional cardiology and primary and elective Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCIs). With a particular interest in the Heart Failure Programme, he is trained in using the Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) as destination therapy. Because of his vast professional experience and well-known specialization in cardiology, he is among the top preferred doctors invited to train and provide lectures to medical students and researchers. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Madras Univ. in 1991 and an MD (General Medicine) from Madras Medical Coll. in 1997. Later, he completed a DM in Cardiology from Shri Ramachandra Medical Coll. and Research Inst. in 2005. Dr. Mohan has given presentations in cardiology at several national and international events and conferences. He holds the position of Joint Secretary in the Tamil Nadu Interventional Council. He is also an active part of several medical associations for cardiology like, the Cardiological Society of India (CSI), the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI), the European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention & Rehabilitation (EACPR) and the Heart Failure Association (HFA). He is a committed cardiologist to expanding medical knowledge and improving patient care, as evidenced by his research articles published in various national and international journals. Dr. Madan Mohan has served as honored with accolades, including the Best Doctor accolade from Tamil Nadu MGR Medical Univ. in 2013 and the Distinguished Doctor accolade from the Rotary Club of Chennai Galaxy in 2017 for his dedication and significant contribution to cardiology.
