Dr. Avtar Singh Bath is one of the reputed and experienced Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons in India. He brings over 33 years of professional experience in this field. His areas of interest lie in Cosmetic Surgery, General Plastic Surgery, Microsurgery, and Hand Surgery. He was the first Plastic Surgeon in India to start Calvarial Bone Grafting procedures, comprehensive management of arteriovenous malformations, and new modalities of treatment of hand tendon injuries. He also specialises in cosmetic surgery procedures including, blepharoplasty, abdominoplasty, laser skin rejuvenation, brow lift, and chin surgery. Dr. Avatar completed his MBBS from Govt. Medical Coll., Punjab, and did MS in General Surgery from AFMC, Pune. After this, he completed an MCh in Plastic Surgery from the Univ. of Pune in 1988. He is associated with many medical societies, including the Assoc of Plastic Surgeons of India, the Assoc of Surgeons of India, the Indian Assoc of Aesthetic Surgery, and the Indian Hair Restorative Society. For his exceptional excellence in the field of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, he received various prestigious accolades, including the Vishisht Seva Medal, Doctor of the Year accolade, and many more. He published over 15 research articles in reputed national and international journals.
