About Us

Dr. Malathi Sathiyasekaran is a reputed Pediatric Gastroenterologist with 48 years of professional experience. She focuses on procedures such as Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Liver Biopsy, and Video capsule endoscopy. She completed her MBBS in 1976 and her Diploma in Child Health in 1978 from Christian Medical Coll., Vellore. Later, she earned an MD(Paediatrics) in 1978 from the Univ. Of Madras, India, and a DM in Gastroenterology from Madras Medical Coll. in 1986. She has had 85 publications on her name in several national and international journals. She is a respected part of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology and Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. She was honored with the Excellence accolade in Service by the Board for Women’s Concerns in 2008 and the Outstanding Achievement accolade by the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical Univ. in 2012.
