Dr. Mukesh Goel is a distinguished Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular surgeon with more than 30 years of professional experience. His specialties include on and off-pump bypass surgeries, beating heart bypass surgery, minimally invasive heart valve surgery, open-heart surgery, and pediatric cardiac surgery. He has performed over 3000 diverse cardiac surgeries. His most significant contribution to the field of cardiology is performing a heart transplant on the youngest child in Asia. Dr. Goel received advanced training under well?recognized cardiac surgeon Dr. Naresh Trehan and has utilized his exposure to perform advanced and complex heart surgeries. After completing his MBBS from Maharshi Dayanand Univ., Rohtak, 1993, he also achieved an MS (General Surgery) from Maharshi Dayanand Univ., Rohtak, 1997, and an MCh (Cardio-Thoracic Surgery) from the Univ. of Delhi, 2001. He played a key role in establishing the Heart surgery unit at Fortis Escorts Heart Inst., Apollo Hospitals New Delhi, and Medanta Gurugram. He is a sought-after speaker at cardiology conferences and seminars, presenting publications and delivering lectures. Dr. Goel is actively engaged in workshops and Continuous Medical Education (CME) programs and remains at the forefront of advancements in cardiac surgery. A dedicated researcher, Dr. Goel has authored numerous publications and articles on Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) in prominent national and international medical journals. He is an active part of the Indian Association Of Cardiothoracic Surgery, the Society Of Thoracic Surgeons, USA, and the European Association Of Cardiothoracic Surgeons. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Maithili, Punjabi, and Bhojpuri.
