Dr. Muthu Jothi, a leading Interventional Cardiologist, boasts a rich professional background and has collaborated with prestigious multidisciplinary hospitals globally. Possessing more than 37 years of extensive professional experience, he focuses on addressing a spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, including Transient Ischemic Attacks, Blocked Arteries, Patent Ductus Arteriosus, Stroke, etc.. His expertise encompasses a wide range of cardiac procedures, including Arrhythmia treatments (radiofrequency ablation therapy, pacemakers, and defibrillator management), Intracardiac electrophysiology study (EPS), Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and managing cardiac emergencies. Dr. Jothi has performed over 15000 heart surgeries. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Madras Medical Coll., Chennai, 1987; MS (General Surgery) from Post Graduate Inst. of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, 1992; and MCh (Thoracic Surgery) from Madras Medical Coll., Chennai, 1995. Dr. Jothi's international exposure includes a notable stint at Great Ormond Street Hosp. for Children in London (3 years) and Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust, London (6 years), where he honed his skills in adult and pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, including heart and heart-lung transplantation. He is a part of the Royal Coll. of Surgeons (MRCS) and the Indian Association of Cardiac Surgeons.
