Dr. Naginder Vashist is a well?recognized Ophthalmologist with more than 47 years of professional experience. His expertise lies in Ophthalmology with focus areas in Phacoemulsification, urea, Vitreo-retina, and Ocular trauma. His noteworthy professional experience is in complex and advanced retinal surgeries, particularly in managing diabetic eye conditions, eye trauma, and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). After completing his MBBS from Kasturba Medical Coll. in 2003, he also achieved an MD (Ophthalmology) from Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Inst. of Medical Sciences, 2006, and FRCS - Ophthalmology (Edin) from Royal Coll. of Physicians and Surgeons (RCPS), Glasgow, 2010. Dr. Vashist received special advanced training in uvea and vitreo-retina at AIIMS. He also did an observership in Vitreo-retina and ocular trauma under the guidance of Dr. Robert Morris, MD, at Retina Specialist of Alabama, USA. He is actively involved in academics, serving as invited faculty at various national and international conferences. He is a presenter of numerous publications, posters, and videos on scientific research. Dr. Vashist is an author of over 20 indexed scientific publications and a contributor to textbook chapters. He is a co-investigator in various multicentric FDA-approved clinical trials. He is an active part of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society, the All India Ophthalmological Society, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the AIIMSONIANS Association, and the Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS).
