About Us

• Dr. Neelam Mohan boasts 35 years of extensive experience as a Pediatric Hepatologist, Liver Transplant Specialist, and Gastroenterologist in India.
• Her expertise lies in Pediatric and Adolescent Gastroenterology, Pediatric and Adolescent Hepatology, Hepatitis B & C, Pancreatitis and Liver Transplantation, etc.
• She initiated therapeutic endoscopy for newborns and young children, a pioneering move in India.
• Her educational qualifications include an MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Hyderabad, 1989, and a DNB from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, 1995. 
• She also achieved a Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, 1997, a Fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition from Birmingham Children's Hospital, Birmingham, UK, 1998, and a Fellowship of the International Medical Sciences Academy (FIMSA), 2008.
• Dr. Mohan further achieved a Fellowship from the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG) in 2009, a Fellowship from the Indian Academy of Pediatrics(FIAP) in 2012, and a Fellowship from the Royal College of Pediatric Children Hospital (FRCPCH) in 2015.
• Dr. Mohan has achieved several notable milestones in her field, both nationally and globally.
• She has been honored with the BC. Roy National Award by the President of India for her groundbreaking work in pediatric liver transplantation within the country.
• Dr. Mohan has been honored with prestigious awards, including the Swastha Bharat Samman, Vashisht Chikitsa Ratan Award, and the DMA Centenary Award.
• With over 300 publications, including more than 115 international ones, and authorship of over 50 book chapters, Dr. Mohan is recognized for her scholarly contributions.
• She has been a featured speaker at over 1000 forums, including over 200 international conferences across various countries such as the USA, Europe, Japan, and more.
• Dr. Mohan is a respected author of global and national guidelines on Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition.
• She serves as an advisor to the National Health Authority of India and holds positions such as co-chair of STW for Pediatrics and advisor to the National Board of Examinations.
• She has delivered distinguished orations such as the Mehta, Mittal, and Sankaranarayanan Oration by ISPGHAN and the Dr. M.C. Joshi Memorial Oration by the Delhi Medical Association.
• Currently, Dr. Mohan serves as the President of the Indian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (ISPGHAN) and the Commonwealth Association of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (CAPGAN).
