Dr. Nilanjan Mitra

About Us

Dr. Nilanjan Mitra is a urologist with more than 22 years of professional experience in healthcare. He focuses on the fields of urology, uro-oncology, and andrology. He has performed numerous procedures such as percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), radical cystectomy, transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT), vasectomy, transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), and many other laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. He offers treatment for conditions such as urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, male infertility, varicocele, hematuria, hernia, etc. He completed his MBBS at Nil Ratan Sircar Medical Coll. and Hosp., Kolkata in 2002. He completed his MS in General Surgery at the West Bengal Univ. of Health Sciences, Kolkata in 2009. He obtained his MCh in Urology from Calcutta National Medical Coll. in 2016. He holds a fellowship in minimal-access surgery. Dr. Mitra is a prominent researcher who has published articles in several well?recognized journals, such as the ‘Journal of Clinical & Diagnostic Research’ and the ‘Bangladesh Journal of Medical Science.’ He has served as a council part of the Bengal Urological Association (BUS) and the Andrology subsection of the Urological Society of India (USI). He is an active part of reputed international and national organizations such as the American Urological Association (AUA) and the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI).
