Dr. Nilanjan Sengupta

About Us

Dr. Nilanjan Sengupta is an endocrinologist with more than 32 years of specialization in healthcare. He offers treatment and management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD), obesity, gestational diabetes, etc. He completed his MBBS at Medical Coll., Kolkata in 1992. He completed his MD in Internal Medicine at the Univ. Coll. of Medicine, Kolkata in 1996. He obtained his DM in Endocrinology from the Inst. of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER) & SSKM Hosp., Kolkata in 2000. Throughout his education, he has won several accolades for excelling in pathology, ophthalmology, ENT, etc. He stood first in his MD (Internal Medicine) and DM (Endocrinology) exams. He has also attended several workshops and served as faculty in workshops related to endocrinology. Dr. Sengupta has served as an active participant and speaker in conferences such as the ESICON, ACADACON, IDEACON, etc. He is a prominent researcher who has published numerous articles in esteemed journals such as the ‘International Journal of Diabetes in Developing Countries’ and the ‘Indian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism.’ He is a part of reputed organizations such as the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) and the Endocrine Society of India (ESI).
