Dr. Partha Pradeep Shetty is a well?recognized nephrologist with 21 years of professional experience. He focuses on kidney transplantation and other transplant surgeries. He is skilled at curing hypertension, acute kidney injury, and chronic kidney disease. His educational qualifications include an MBBS in 2003 from Kempegowda Inst. of Medical Sciences, Bangalore and an MD in General Medicine in 2007 from Rajiv Gandhi Univ. of Health Sciences. He also has a DM in Nephrology to his credit, obtained in 2011 from the Maharashtra Univ. of Health Sciences Nashik. He holds many fellowships from Canada, including those for transplant and clinical nephrology. He has attended many conferences and has delivered several talks, such as the high cost of dialysis on World Kidney Day. His articles on ‘Overexercising, not lipstick use, may change urine color’ and ‘Unchecked painkiller use raises kidney disease risk in young adults’ have been published by the Times of India and Deccan Herald, respectively.
