• With over 29 years of experience, Dr. Prashant Vilas Bhangui has garnered extensive expertise as a Surgical Gastroenterologist and Liver Transplant Surgeon.
• His expertise lies in hepatobiliary surgery, hepatocellular carcinoma management, colorectal liver metastases management, liver transplantation, etc.
• His educational qualifications include MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from Goa Medical College & Hospital, Goa, in 2000 and 2004, respectively.
• Following this, he pursued advanced training, earning a master's Programme in HPB Surgery and Liver Transplantation at the prestigious Henri Bismuth Hepatobiliary Institute in France.
• Complementing his education, he further refined his skills through a Fellowship Programme at Centre Hepatobiliare Hopital Paul Brouse Paris.
• Dr. Prashant possesses a European Inter-University Diploma in Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Cancers: Oncosurgical Strategies and has been recognized with the Merck KGaA Germany International Educational Grant for his clinical research endeavors.
• Dr. Prashant's professional interests are concentrated in hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal liver metastases, and living donor liver transplantation, with his contributions reflected in numerous publications in esteemed peer-reviewed international journals.
• He also actively participates as a reviewer for esteemed journals, including the Journal of Hepatology, Liver Transplantation, and the World Journal of Surgery.
• Dr. Prashant's research efforts are primarily focused on exploring molecular markers and innovative therapeutic approaches for managing hepatocellular carcinoma and colorectal liver metastases.
